Adjunct Faculty Positions
-Potomac State College is seeking the following positions:
English – seeking an instructor to teach dual credit/early start ENGL 101 at East Hardy High School for the fall 2014 semester.
Biology – seeking an instructor to teach on campus biology labs for the fall 2014 semester.

-Potomac State College is accepting applications for a Campus Service Worker. 37.5 hours/week; 12-months with benefits; salary $9.55/hr. Duties include cleaning dormitories, trash removal, minor repair work, and grounds keeping. Possible weekend and holiday shifts. High school diploma/GED required. -Potomac State College is accepting applications for the full-time position of Accounting Assistant I. This is a 37.5 hour per week position with benefits and a salary of 12.25/hour. The working hours for this position are 8:30am – 5:00pm M-F.
The general purposes of this position are to assist the PSC Office of Student Accounts, the PSC Service Office, and the PSC Business Office. General duties and responsibilities include: accepting payments, preparing bank deposits, answering billing inquiries, consulting students and parents with payment plan options, assisting with campus mail distribution, acting as a receptionist for campus visitors and incoming telephone calls, and assisting with general accounting and clerical work.
This position requires an associate’s degree in accounting, business, or related field, OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Requires experience in an office environment, accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical work. Potomac State College is accepting applications for the following positions:
- Food Service Worker, #69. This is a 37.5 hour/week position, 10 months with benefits, salary $10.10/hr.
Position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience; requires ability to oversee activities of subordinates and provide proper training & guidance; demonstrated knowledge of proper food storage and sanitation procedures; ability to read and write in English and perform math calculations; ability to follow oral and written instructions; able to operate food service equipment; ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., and maintain proper work attendance and punctuality standards, as well as demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Food Service Assistant II, #245, #279, & #301. These are 37.5 hour/week positions, 10 months with benefits, salary $9.04/hr.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and write in English and perform math calculations; ability to follow oral and written instructions; able to operate food service equipment; ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., and maintain proper work attendance and punctuality standards.

- Potomac State College of WVU is accepting applications for a mathematics tutor to work in the Academic Success Center. This position is full-time, 37.5 hours/week, 9 months, benefits eligible with a salary of $14.75/hour. Duties include tutoring students to improve mathematical skills, providing other services offered by the Academic Success Center, and teaching a one-credit orientation course annually. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or closely related subject and six months experience as a tutor or teacher in higher education.

Non-Classified and Faculty- Equivalent Positions
-Potomac State College of West Virginia University is accepting applications for a 9-month, 37.5 hours/week position in the Student Health Center for a Nurse Practitioner. Position requires an interest in urgent care and continuity care of college population of 1800, with competence in diagnosis and treatment of common ambulatory problems and minor office procedures. Experience in college health and women’s health preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing services to Title X WV Family Planning Program, establishing medical diagnoses, prescribing medications for treatment, follow-up evaluation and making appropriate referrals. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited program with license in WV as NP with prescriptive authority. Must have at least one year experience in the field. -Potomac State College of WVU is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Trainer .19. This FEAP position is a 10-month part-time (19.5) position with a salary of $12.43 per hour and is not benefits eligible.
Bachelor’s degree is required-Masters preferred. Incumbent must be NATABOC certified; First Aid and CPR certified, eligible for WV ATC Certification.
Duties include but not limited to attend practices, home games, some travel to away contests; establish training room hours for rehab, complete injury report forms for all injuries; responsible for all insurance billing; make sure students have transportation to and from rehab if it is off campus; keep coaches updated on status of student injuries, supervise student trainers; game management when AD is not available and work summer camps as needed.
