Adjunct Faculty Positions 

-Potomac State College invites applications from individuals interested in working as adjunct faculty in a variety of academic areas, especially the following disciplines:

Adjunct Instructors at PSC are expected to teach undergraduate courses and engage in teaching practices with an acute focus on documenting student learning. A master’s degree in the appropriate field is required or relevant certification for some disciplines. Classified Positions  

-Potomac State College Dining Services is accepting applications for an Operation Coordinator position. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and have 2-3 years’ experience in large volume food production supervision. Experience and knowledge may be considered in lieu of degree requirements. This is a 12 month, benefits eligible position with an entry rate of $30,694. The work schedule varies and is exempt from overtime. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Non-Classified and Faculty- Equivalent Positions

-Potomac State College of West Virginia University is accepting applications for a 9-month, 37.5 hours/week position in the Student Health Center for a Nurse Practitioner. Position requires an interest in urgent care and continuity care of college population of 1800, with competence in diagnosis and treatment of common ambulatory problems and minor office procedures. Experience in college health and women’s health preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing services to Title X WV Family Planning Program, establishing medical diagnoses, prescribing medications for treatment, follow-up evaluation and making appropriate referrals. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited program with license in WV as NP with prescriptive authority. Must have at least one year experience in the field. Temporary Positions

-Potomac State College is accepting applications for a Temporary Campus Service Worker. 37.5 hours/week; evening shift; possible weekend and holiday shifts; $9.55/hr.  Duties include cleaning dormitories, trash removal, minor repair work, & grounds keeping.  High school diploma/GED required.
