Adjunct Faculty Positions
Potomac State College is accepting applications for our Adjunct Pool for future semesters, especially in the following disciplines:
- Political Science
Adjunct Instructors at PSC are expected to teach undergraduate courses and engage in teaching practices with an acute focus on documenting student learning. A master’s degree in the appropriate field is required or relevant certification for some disciplines. Interested individuals should send a cover letter (listing disciplines of interest and schedule availability) and a resume or curriculum vitae and unofficial transcripts to PSCAcademicAffairs@mail.wvu.edu.

Select EXTERNAL CANDIDATES APPLY HERE (unless you are already employed by PSC or WVU)
Select Keyser in the left column (You may have to click on "Show more..." under Worksite).
Once you find a position you are interested in applying for, click on Apply on the right side of the list or click on the job title for more details. Once you’ve clicked apply, you will need to sign into your WVUHIRE account. If you are an internal applicant, you can sign in using your MyAccess Login.
If you are an external applicant, and do not have an account please click the New User button and complete the required information to create your profile. You will need to read the privacy agreement and click "I Accept". You can either upload a resume to fill in information regarding your work experience or type everything in the required fields. All sections with a red asterisk (*) must be completed. If you need to stop before completing the entire application, click “Save as draft” at the top and/or bottom of the page you are on.
There are various sections that must be completed when you originally register before you can be considered for any positions. Once you have finished all of these, you will need to read the statement on the e-signature page and enter your full name to sign your application. You can now review and/or edit your profile. Once you are satisfied that everything is correct, please click SUBMIT and you will see a screen showing that your application is completed. To apply for future openings, you will only need to log in to your profile and make any necessary updates. You can also log back in at any time to check the status of positions you have applied for.

About the College
Founded in 1901, Potomac State College of West Virginia University (WVU) is a baccalaureate degree granting institution providing associate of arts, associate of applied science, and bachelor of applied science degrees. The historic mission of the college is in undergraduate teaching, learning, and student success with 2+2 career paths to over 50-related baccalaureate degree programs at WVU-Morgantown. A Bachelor of Applied Science degree is also offered on our campus, with emphases in Business Management and Criminal Justice with additional baccalaureate offerings (Computer Information Systems and Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurism) currently in the development pipeline.
