What is Communication Studies? The field offers a wide variety of opportunities in human communication. Communications Studies deals with a range of topics from talking face-to-face to mass communication such as radio and television as well as social media.

At Potomac State College (PSC), Communications Studies majors will develop critical thinking, reasoning, and decision-making skills to empower them to craft and deliver effective messages in their careers and personal life.

Amber Butcher , advisor, assists students in securing internships and gaining experience on campus. Students are encouraged to write for the Pasquino, the College newspaper, and produce segments for the radio station, Mountain Streams Radio, located on campus
