Overview of Major:
The Sport Management major is designed to prepare students for a dynamic career in the rapidly changing sports industry. Opportunities related to this major extend far beyond the scope of professional sports. The program helps students develop critical and ethical awareness, and a better understanding of the commercial, economic, political, and social issues related to sport.
Graduates will be equipped with skills like management and leadership, sport marketing and finance, and specialized problem solving abilities that will help them have a positive impact on outcomes in their sport organizations. By melding innovative courses with expert instruction, the Potomac State College Sport Management program trains and prepares students for one of the fastest growing industries in the U.S.
