Catamount Pride
The Catamount statue you see as you drive onto campus is a symbol of an athletic program with a winning history. For example, the baseball team has captured the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) championship and made seven appearances in the NJCAA World Series. Women’s basketball has been a top-20 ranked program, and the golf team boasts several national tournament qualifiers.
If you love to play sports, Potomac State is the perfect place to further your athletic career and develop as an athlete. For some, it’s a stepping-stone to a four-year athletic career. And for others, it’s a springboard to a professional athletic career.
