The Potomac State College of WVU Athletic Department is proud to offer its athletes a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer(ATC) and a newly renovated athletic training facility.  The Athletic Training Department consists of two well-equipped athletic training room.  
          The main Athletic Training Room is located in the basement of Lough Gymnasium.  It is conveniently located near the home and visitor locker rooms and down stairs from the main gym.  It houses the Certified Athletic Trainer's office and is fully equipped with electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot and cold modalities for daily athlete treatments and rehabilitation. 
          The fieldhouse Athletic Training Room is located directly adjacent to the baseball field, the football/soccer field, and the softball field.  Its location makes it convenient for athletes that require pre-practice and pre-game treatments.  
          Having a full-time certified athletic trainer means that all in-season team practices and games have athletic training/medical coverage.  The Certified Athletic Trainer and the staff of student athletic trainers are available through out the day to aid athletes in any way possible.  The PSC Athletic Training Department also has a team physician that is readily available, as well as, several other local physicians that are more than willing to see athletes when a referral is necessary.
