The Potomac State College of West Virginia University Alumni Association in conjunction with Tom Valentine Productions will present “Football Fatality” in a dinner theater setting on Saturday, February 14 at 6 p.m. in the Davis Conference Center on the Potomac State campus.
Bring your special Valentine for some great food while you enjoy figuring out this sports-themed ‘who done it?’ From the football commissioner to the star quarterback to the wild cheerleader, audience interaction is what makes this murder mystery a winner with lots of clues and laughs throughout the production. Prizes will also be awarded.
Patrons will enjoy a palate-pleasing buffet including sweetheart salad, lasagna, vegetable pasta, broccoli, bread sticks, red velvet cupcakes, and tea and coffee to drink. Anyone with special dietary needs can also be accommodated with prior notification.
The script was written by Tom Valentine who serves as theatre instructor and director of drama at the College. Cast members include Valentine, Tommy Nestor, Linda Julian, Fran Vogtman, Brian Tucker, and Tom Vogtman.

Weekend of Honors 2015
Potomac State College will celebrate the Tenth Annual Weekend of Honors April 22-26 . Leading the events this year is the celebration for the Outstanding Staff Person of the Year Reception on Wednesday, April 22 from 1:30 - 3 p.m. in the Davis Conference Center. The Outstanding Professor of the Year Reception will be held at the Candlewyck Inn on Thursday, April 23 from 4 – 6 p.m. On Friday, April 24 from 3 – 4 p.m. there will be an Open House of our newly constructed Baseball Clubhouse. You are invited to tour the facility and enjoy some refreshments.
Saturday, April 25 will offer a variety of activities including a Double-Header Baseball Game at Golden Park, pitting the PSC Catamounts against Monroe College with a starting time of noon. Our annual “GOLD RUSH” will take place as we have giveaways and an opportunity to win a TV throughout both baseball games. Later that evening, current student athletes will be honored while former athletes will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at the Annual Awards Banquet. The banquet requires reservations and should be made no later than Friday, April 17 by calling Libby Kalbaugh at 304-788-6870 or 800-262-7332, extension 6870, or by emailing her at Libby.Kalbaugh@mail.wvu.edu. Social hour is at 6 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m.; cost is $20 per person.
Sunday, April 26 The Scholars’ Wall/Recognition Day Ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center; and the Sigma Phi Omega Banquet begins at 5 p.m. in the Davis Conference Center. The Sigma Phi Omega Banquet also requires reservations and should be made through Vicki Huffman at 304-788-6971. The cost is $15 per person. The deadline for making reservations is Friday, April 17.
