More Than You Might Expect...
Personal attention on a growing campus.
While our small college environment allows us to provide individual attention to our students, our campus is more than you might expect. The focal point of our 18-acre campus is University Place, a new $19 million residential complex, (seen above), which complements our other three existing residence halls. A renovated library and a new 27,500 square foot riding arena add to the impact of our growing campus.
The Company We Keep
As a fully-integrated division of West Virginia University, Potomac State offers a full range of academic degrees. In addition to our nearly 50 two-year transfer degrees and our nine Fast Track degrees, the College now offers students the option to finish their four-year degrees in either business management or criminal justice. Catamount Tradition
An important aspect of Potomac State's campus experience is our winning athletic tradition. Our baseball team is traditionally one of the top two-year programs in the country. Our women's basketball, men's soccer and golf teams have all completed in NJCAA National Tournaments.
